Spokane Valley has made smart decisions. Our roads are in good shape, and our growth has been guided by thoughtful planning. As your City Councilman, I will make sure we stay on that path. I believe in maintaining what works. That means continuing to invest in the infrastructure we’ve already built, keeping our roads safe and well-maintained, and ensuring that new development fits within the character and capacity of our community.
At the same time, I’ll work to keep growth under control. Spokane Valley is growing, and that brings both opportunity and responsibility. We need to make sure our growth is balanced—supporting our economy and quality of life without overwhelming our schools, roads, and neighborhoods.
Most importantly, I’ll do all of this without placing new burdens on taxpayers. We can be responsible stewards of public funds. We must be efficient with tax dollars while holding government accountable and focusing on long-term results instead of short-term fixes.
Spokane Valley has remained an affordable community in our region because we've applied common sense and responsible budgeting. I’m committed to keeping it that way. As your City Councilmember, I will continue to hold the line on taxes, because families are already feeling the strain of inflation and rising costs.
I believe every tax dollar should be treated with respect, and I’ll work to eliminate wasteful spending while making sure city resources are used efficiently and transparently.
Protecting our families and seniors is a top priority. Too many are being priced out of their homes or struggling to keep up. I’ll fight to keep Spokane Valley a place where people of all ages can thrive, raise their families, and retire with dignity—without being burdened by unnecessary financial pressures.
Our community deserves steady, practical leadership that puts people first, and that’s exactly what I’ll deliver.
We’re beginning to see the same challenges that have plagued downtown Spokane—like drugs, crime, and homelessness—creeping into Spokane Valley. I’m committed to keeping those harmful policies out of our city and preserving the quality of life that makes Spokane Valley a great place to live.
I will always stand by our police officers and first responders who work tirelessly to keep our neighborhoods safe. Public safety is not a luxury; it is a necessity for any thriving community.
That’s why I’ll ensure Spokane Valley remains a place where families can feel secure in their homes, businesses can flourish, and residents can live without fear. We need leadership that is tough on crime, supportive of law enforcement, and dedicated to maintaining the safety and well-being of every person who calls Spokane Valley home.
Decisions about Spokane Valley should be made by those who live here—not by distant politicians who don’t understand our community’s unique needs. I’ll always push back against mandates from Olympia that override our values and local priorities.
Whether it’s zoning laws, law enforcement policies, education, or how we spend taxpayer dollars, Spokane Valley residents deserve a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
As your City Councilmember, I’ll make sure your concerns are heard loud and clear at City Hall. We need leadership that listens to the people and ensures our local government reflects the values and needs of our community—not outside interests or one-size-fits-all solutions from the state or federal levels.
